Requirements

Following these guidelines helps your project move into production with fewer avoidable pre-press delays or charges.

Resolution & Scale

Large format does not require 300 DPI at full scale.

Full Scale (100%): 72 - 100 DPI is optimal
Half Scale (50%): 150 - 200 DPI
Tenth Scale (10%): 720 - 1000 DPI

Bleed & Margins

Give yourself room to work during installation.

Custom Vehicle Graphics: Add 2 inches of bleed to all sides
Wall Graphics: Add 2 inches of bleed, build in 1" overlap for panels
Contour Cut: Provide a vector path named "Cut" set to a spot color

Color Profile

We use an advanced 8-color ink setup, but proper file setup is required to hit the right gamut.

Always design and save in CMYK
Assign U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 or GRACoL 2006
For exact brand matches, provide Pantone Solid Coated numbers
Rich Black formula: C:60 M:40 Y:40 K:100

Accepted Formats

Flatten all transparencies and outline all fonts before exporting.

.PDF (Preferred) - PDF/X-4 standard
.TIFF - LZW compression enabled
.AI / .EPS - Must have all links embedded
No .JPG or .PNG for final output
